WARRANT – WEAPONS CHARGES – RONALD DEWAYNE LEMON, SR.

PLATTENVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Ronald Dewayne Lemon, Sr., 42, of 211 Pierre Street, Plattenville, LA, on felony charges arising from an incident at the aforementioned address on August 30, 2021.

Deputies were dispatched to the above address and made contact with the complainant who indicated that two adult male individuals were involved in an argument. At some point, the suspect, now identified as Ronald Dewayne Lemon, Sr. discharged a firearm.

That action followed a rant by Lemon who at some point allegedly retrieved a firearm from his vehicle and fired two shots. Deputies did recover evidence which indicated that a firearm had been used in some fashion.

At the conclusion of the investigation, deputies filed an arrest warrant against Ronald Dewayne Lemon, Sr.

Ronald Dewayne Lemon, Sr. was transported from Lafourche Parish, where he was being held on unrelated charges, on Wednesday and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:

*Illegal Use of Weapons or Dangerous Instrumentalities
*Failure to Appear for Trial – Assumption Parish – Traffic Offenses (Bond $402)

Ronald Dewayne Lemon, Sr. remains incarcerated with bond set t $75,402.
