VIOLATION OF PROTECTIVE ORDER
LIONEL MITCHELL

LABADIEVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Lionel Mitchell, 57, of 121 Highway 1014, Labadieville, LA, on charges related to a domestic incident.

On Thursday afternoon, deputies responded to a call of a domestic disturbance near Labadieville. Upon arrival, deputies learned that the complainant had a protective order in effect against Lionel Mitchell. The investigation determined that an incident had occurred and that Lionel Mitchell had violated the terms of the order.

Deputies located Lionel Mitchell hiding in a closet. As deputies attempted to take Mitchell into custody, he put up some resistance.

Lionel Mitchell was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:

*Violation of a Protective Order
*Resisting an Officer

Lionel Mitchell was incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
