VEHICLE BURGLARY – JUVENILE ARREST

BAYOU L’OURSE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of a 15-year-old juvenile in connection with a vehicle burglary on Pond Drive in Bayou L’Ourse.

Deputies responded to a complaint of the burglary on September 8, 2019. During the course of the investigation, an item stolen in the burglary was found to be in possession of the juvenile. The teen was questioned in the presence of a guardian and acknowledged his participation in the crime.

A verified complaint was filed against the juvenile and the case was remanded to juvenile prosecutors.
