VEHICLE BURGLARIES
CHRISTOPHER H. WALKER, KEVIN D. WALKER, JUVENILE
PLATTENVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrests in a rash of automobile burglaries in the Plattenville, LA area which occurred on Thursday morning.
Those arrests include:
-Christopher H Walker, age 22, of 5460 Highway 1, Napoleonville, LA was booked on charges of:
*Simple Burglary – 25 Counts
*Contributing to the Delinquency of a Juvenile – 1 Count
-Kevin D. Walker, 18, of 305 W. 4th Street, Donaldsonville, LA was booked on charges of:
*Simple Burglary – 25 Counts
*Contributing to the Delinquency of a Juvenile – 1 Count
Kevin D. Walker and Christopher H. Walker remain incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
-Juvenile arrest – 16-year-old male accused by verified complaint of:
*Simple Burglary – 25 Counts
In the early morning hours of Thursday, March 11, 2021, deputies responded to a vehicle burglary in the 5600 block of LA 308 in Plattenville in connection with a burglary in progress.
Upon approach, deputies observed three individuals in the area who fled on foot, two of those suspects were immediately taken into custody.
Property stolen from the burglaries was located in the possession of these two suspects as well as property stolen in other burglaries the same morning.
Detectives responded and began to process each individual crime scene. Detectives identified 25 separate burglaries of unlocked vehicles in the Bertrandville and Plattenville areas.
The third suspect, Christopher Walker was identified and subsequently taken into custody.
The investigation is continuing.
