TRICK OR TREAT SAFETY TIPS
TRICK OR TREAT – SUNDAY, OCTOBER 31, 2021 – 6 to 8 p.m.
NAPOLEONVILLE –Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon is offering the following safety tips for Trick or Treat festivities.
*Carry a flashlight and wear reflective clothing.
*Walk on the far right side of roadways and have safety buffers between trick or treaters and traffic.
*Always have adults present while kids trick or treat.
*Do not allow children to eat candy until a thorough inspection of all goodies is completed.
*Trick or treat in small groups and not alone.
*Allow children to trick or treat only at locations you are familiar with and in lighted areas.
*Do not trick or treat at homes of known sex offenders.
*Do not allow children to utilize electronic devices while trick or treating.
*Practice all health and safety requirements relative to COVID-19.
Sheriff Falcon urges the motoring public to please utilize extreme caution on roadways during Trick or Treat.
