TRAFFIC WARRANTS, DRUG LAW VIOLATIONS – I.C.E. ARREST – BRANDON E. HARRIS
BELLE ROSE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Brandon E. Harris, 40, of 164 Frank Lane, Belle Rose, LA, on felony drug charges and traffic related warrants on Tuesday afternoon near Belle Rose.
A uniformed patrol deputy observed an individual now identified as Brandon E. Harris in the 100 block of Frank Lane. The deputy was aware that outstanding warrants existed for the arrest of Harris related to a traffic incident in the Belle Rose area in September of 2024. The deputy arrested Brandon E. Harris.
In the process of arresting Brandon E. Harris, the deputy requested consent to search Harris’ vehicle after Harris acted suspiciously. Harris consented to the search and as a result of that search, deputies seized drug paraphernalia and a quantity of marijuana.
Brandon E. Harris was booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:
*Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Distribute
*Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
*Warrant – Hit and Run Driving
*Warrant – No Driver’s License
*Probation / Parole Violation
Brandon E. Harris remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
