TRAFFIC VIOLATION / WARRANT – ADAM LEROY HUNT
RESISTING AN OFFICER – APRIL M. WILSON
NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Adam Leroy Hunt, 35, of 129 Hwy. 401, Napoleonville, LA on charges arising from a traffic violation.
On February 17, 2022, a uniformed patrol officer observed a speeding vehicle on LA 1 and attempted to make a stop of that vehicle. The vehicle fled and the driver exited and barricaded himself at the aforementioned address.
A warrant was issued for Adam Leroy Hunt and was executed on Thursday, February 24, 2022, resulting in his apprehension.
Adam Leroy Hunt was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on a charge of:
*Resisting an Officer with Force or Violence (Felony)
*Speeding
*Suspension / Revocation / Cancellation of Licenses
*Flight from an Officer
*Resisting an Officer (3 Counts)
*Public Intimidation (Threats) (Felony)
April Wilson, 34, who also resides at the aforementioned address, was arrested and charged with:
*Resisting an Officer with Force or Violence (Felony)
*Accessory after the Fact for Resisting an Officer with Force or Violence (Felony)
Both, Hunt and Wilson remain incarcerated pending bond hearings.
