TRAFFIC STOP – PROBATION / PAROLE VIOLATOR

BAYOU L’OURSE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Brett M. Givens, 33, of 121 Emy Lane, Patterson, LA, on a probation / parole warrant as well as a non-support warrant following a traffic stop on Saturday evening in Bayou L’Ourse.

A uniformed patrol deputy observed a vehicle stopped in the main travel lane of LA 662. The deputy made contact with the driver now identified as Brett Michale Givens. The deputy conducted an officer / violator interview as well as a criminal background check. It was determined that Brett Michael Givens was a fugitive wanted by St. Mary Parish.

Brett Michael Givens was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:

*Probation / Parole Violations
*Non – Support

Brett Michael Givens was released to the custody of St. Mary Parish on Sunday, April 14, 2024
