TRAFFIC STOP – FUGITIVE WARRANTS – JEREMY JAMES RODGERS
AMELIA – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Jeremy James Rodgers, 42, of 124 Bonjovi Blvd., Gray, LA, on multiple fugitive warrants following a traffic stop near Amelia on Sunday night.
A uniformed patrol deputy observed a vehicle with an equipment violation and executed a stop of that vehicle. The deputy made contact with the driver, now identified as Jeremy James Rodgers, and initiated an officer / violator interview.
The deputy requested a warrants check on Rodgers and the Communications Division advised that Rodgers was wanted by Iberia and Terrebonne Parishes on fugitive warrants.
Jeremy James Rodgers was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on fugitive warrants as follows:
*Iberia Parish – Failure to Appear for Felony Arraignment
*Terrebonne Parish – Fugitive Warrant
Jeremy James Rodgers will be transferred to the custody of the respectful jurisdictions.
