TRAFFIC STOP – DRUG LAW VIOLATIONS – I.C.E. ARRESTS
TRISHA ROSE WADE, CALEB JESSIE WADE
PAINCOURTVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrests of Trisha Rose Wade, 28, of 1301 Highway 402, Napoleonville, LA and Caleb Jessie Wade, also of 1301 Highway 402, Napoleonville, LA on felony drug charges arising from a traffic stop on LA 403 on Wednesday evening.
A uniformed patrol deputy assigned to the I.C.E. detail observed a vehicle commit a traffic violation and initiated a stop of that vehicle.
The deputy made contact with the driver, now identified as Trisha Rose Wade and engaged an officer / violator interview. The deputy noted a strong odor of suspected raw marijuana emitting from the suspect vehicle.
The deputy interviewed the passenger, now identified as Caleb Jessie Wade.
At the conclusion of those interviews, the deputy believed that further investigation was warranted.
The deputy requested and was granted consent to search the vehicle. During the search process, deputies recovered a significant amount of suspected marijuana and assorted drug paraphernalia.
Trisha Rose Wade and Caleb Jessie Wade were arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center as follows:
– As to Trisha Rose Wade:
*Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Distribute
*Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
*No Insurance
*Driving Under a Suspended Driver’s License
*Failure to Dim Headlights
Trisha Rose Wade was transferred to Ascension Parish and remains incarcerated with bond set at $10,000.
– As to Caleb Jessie Wade:
*Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
*Possession with Intent to Distribute Marijuana
Caleb Jessie Wade was incarcerated and released on a $10,000 bond.
