TRAFFIC STOP / DRUG LAW VIOLATIONS – I.C.E. ARRESTS –
JARRETT MCKINLEY GROS SIMONEAUX, KAITLYN ALIDA CHEDOTAL

BELLE ROSE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrests of Jarrett McKinley Gros Simoneaux, 31, of 7405 Highway 1 South, Donaldsonville, LA and Kaitlyn Alida Chedotal, 29, of 114 North Curtis Street, Pierre Part, LA, on felony drug charges arising from a traffic stop on LA 308 near Belle Rose.

A uniformed patrol deputy assigned to the I.C.E. detail observed a northbound vehicle on LA 308 with equipment violations and initiated a stop of that vehicle. The deputy made contact with the driver now identified as Jarrett McKinely Gros Simoneaux and one passenger now identified as Kaitlyn Alida Chedotal. The deputy conducted interviews of both Simoneaux and Chedotal. At the conclusion of those interviews, the deputy believed further investigation was warranted.

Deputies obtained consent to search the suspect vehicle. During the search, deputies seized a significant amount of methamphetamine as well as drug paraphernalia.

Jarrett Mckinley Gros Simoneaux was arrested and booked on charges of:
*Possession of Methamphetamine with Intent to Distribute
*Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
*No Seat Belt

Kaitlyn Alida Chedotal was arrested and booked on charges of:
*Possession of Methamphetamine with Intent to Distribute
*Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
*No Seat Belt

Jarrett McKinley Gros Simoneaux and Kaitlyn Alida Chedotal remain incarcerated pending bond proceedings.
