TRAFFIC STOP – DRUG LAW VIOLATIONS
ADAM MICHAEL RODRIGUE – I.C.E. ARREST
LABADIEVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Adam Michael Rodrigue, 32, of 254 Grande Drive, Thibodaux, LA, on multiple charges arising from a Sunday night traffic stop west of Labadieville, LA.
A uniformed patrol deputy on I.C.E. assignment observed a vehicle on LA 398 west of Labadieville with an equipment violation and initiated a stop of that vehicle.
The deputy made contact with the driver, now identified as Adam Michael Rodrigue.
The deputy proceeded to interview the driver and at the completion of that interview, the deputy concluded that additional investigation was warranted.
The suspect, Adam Michael Rodrigue, acknowledged the presence of illegal substances in the vehicle. Deputies proceeded to search the vehicle.
As a result of searching the vehicle, quantities of methamphetamine, marijuana and drug paraphernalia were seized.
Adam Michael Rodrigue was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:
*Possession of Methamphetamine
*Possession of Marijuana
*Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
*Use of Multiple Beam Road Lighting Equipment
*Driving Under a Suspended Driver’s License
Adam Michael Rodrigue remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
