TRAFFIC STOP – DRUG LAW VIOLATIONS

PLATTENVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Thalassa Lee Frickey, 44, of 214 Lucky Street, Plattenville, LA, on felony drug law violations near Gilbert Street in Plattenville Saturday evening.
A uniformed patrol officer observed a vehicle commit a traffic violation and initiated a stop of the violator vehicle. The deputy made contact with the driver, now identified as Thalassa Lee Frickey. The deputy noted a strong odor of suspected marijuana emitting from the vehicle. The deputy requested and was granted consent to search the vehicle. During this process, deputies did seize quantities of illegal narcotics and drug paraphernalia.
Thalassa Lee Frickey was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:
*Possession of Meth-Amphetamine
*Possession of Marijuana
*Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
*Possession of Suboxone
*Illegal Use of Controlled Drugs in the Presence of Persons Under 17 Years of Age
*Possession of Alcoholic Beverages in Motor Vehicles
*Driving Under Suspension
*Expired Motor Vehicle Inspection Tag
*Turning Movements and Required Signals
Thalassa Lee Frickey remains incarcerated with a bond set at $20,000.
