TRAFFIC STOP – DRUG LAW VIOLATIONS

PIERRE PART – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Kalynn Nicole Phillips, 32, of 924 Bayou Drive, Pierre Part, LA, on felony drug charges relating to a traffic stop on LA 70 in Pierre Part on Friday afternoon.
A uniformed patrol K-9 deputy observed a vehicle commit multiple traffic violations and proceeded to stop the violator vehicle.
The deputy made contact with the driver, now identified as Kalynn Nicole Phillips. The driver’s operator’s license was determined to have been suspended and there was a switched license plate on the vehicle.
During the interview process, the suspect consented to a search of her vehicle. As a result of the search, deputies seized a variety of illegal contraband.
Kalynn Nicole Phillips was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:
*Possession of Meth-Amphetamine
*Possession of Adderall
*Possession of Marijuana
*Possession of Synthetic Marijuana
*Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
*Switched License Plate
*Expired Motor Vehicle Inspection Tag
*Driving Under Suspension
Kalynn Nicole Phillips was released on a $25,600 bond.
