TRAFFIC STOP – DRUG LAW VIOLATIONS – JARON FLYNN FORET, MADISON NOEL COBB
PLATTENVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrests of Jaron Flynn Foret, 30, 125 Pond Drive, Bayou L’Ourse, LA and Madison Noel Cobb, 20, of 185 Highway 663, Bayou L’Ourse, LA, on felony drug charges arising from a traffic stop at Highway 308 and LA 70 Spur late Wednesday evening.
A narcotics unit on assignment observed a vehicle commit a traffic violation and initiated a stop of that vehicle.
The deputy made contact with the driver, now identified as Jaron Flynn Foret and engaged Foret in an officer / violator interview.
The passenger now identified as Madison Noel Cobb was also interviewed. During the interview of Cobb, deputies recovered a quantity of illegal narcotics off her person.
At the conclusion of the interviews, deputies summoned a K-9 to the scene. The K-9 conducted an open-air sniff of the suspect vehicle and alerted positive for the presence of illegal substances.
A quantity of suspected heroin was seized from Jaron Flynn Foret.
Deputies arrested Jaron Flynn Foret and Madison Noel Cobb and transported both to the Assumption Parish Detention Center for booking.
Jaron Flynn Foret was booked on charges of:
*Possession of Heroin
*Driving on Roadway Laned for Traffic
Foret remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
During an invasive search, controlled dangerous substances were seized off the person of Madison Noel Cobb during the booking process.
Madison Noel Cobb was booked on charges of:
*Taking Contraband to / from a Penal Institution
*Possession of Heroin
*Possession of Marijuana
*Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Madison Noel Cobb remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
