TRAFFIC STOP – DRUG LAW VIOLATIONS – PAMELA SUE BALL

PAINCOURTVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Pamela Sue Ball, 40, of 615 Lonely Oak Road, Morgan City, LA, on multiple charges arising from a traffic incident near LA 70 and Ideal Street in Paincourtville on Wednesday evening.

A uniformed patrol deputy observed a vehicle commit a traffic violation on LA 70 East and initiated a stop of that vehicle. The deputy made contact with the driver, now identified as Pamela Sue Ball and engaged Ball into an officer / violator interview. At the conclusion of that interview, the deputy believed additional investigation was warranted.

The deputy requested consent to search the vehicle which was granted. During the search process, a quantity of suspected methamphetamine was seized.

Pamela Sue Ball was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:

*Speeding
*Resisting an Officer
*Possession of Methamphetamine

Pamela Sue Ball remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
