TRAFFIC STOP – DRUG LAW / VIOLATIONS
TEDDY BOUDOIN, JR., ANGELA DANOS MORRISON
LABADIEVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Teddy Boudoin, Jr., 48, of 13247 Palm Street, Vacherie, LA, on felony drug charges arising from a traffic stop on LA 398 west of Labadieville Tuesday evening.
A uniformed patrol deputy observed a vehicle with an equipment violation and initiated a stop of that vehicle. The deputy made contact with the driver, now identified as Teddy Boudoin, Jr. and engaged Boudoin into an officer / violator interview. The deputy determined that Teddy Boudoin, Jr. was driving under a suspended driver’s license.
The deputy then made contact with the passenger, now identified as Angela Danos Morrison, 47, of 220 South Jamon Court, Bourg, LA. The deputy conducted an officer / violator interview on Morrison. Upon completion of the interview process, the deputy thought additional investigation was warranted. The deputy requested consent to search the vehicle which was granted. During the search process, a quantity of marijuana was recovered. During a protective pat down search of Angela Danos Morrison, marijuana and cocaine were seized.
Once at the detention facility, a more intensive strip down search was conducted on Morrison resulting in additional narcotics being seized.
At the conclusion of the investigation, Teddy Boudoin, Jr., and Angela Danos Morrison were both arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center as follows:
-As to Teddy Boudoin, Jr.
*Possession with Intent to Distribute Cocaine
*Possession with Intent to Distribute Marijuana
*Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
*Operating a Vehicle under a Suspended Driver’s License
*Proper Equipment Required on Vehicles
*Fugitive – Lafourche Parish
Teddy Boudoin, Jr. remains incarcerated with bond set at $40,000.
-As to Angela Danos Morrison:
*Possession with Intent to Distribute Marijuana
*Obstruction of Justice
*Taking Contraband to / from Penal Institutions
*Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
*Possession of Alcoholic Beverages in a Motor Vehicle
*Possession with Intent to Distribute Cocaine
Angel Danos Morrison also remains incarcerated with bond set at $35,000.
