TRAFFIC STOP – DRUG LAW VIOLATION – EUGENE TAYLOR FAIR

ASSUMPTION – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Eugene Taylor Fair, 37. of, 125 Jacobs Street, Napoleonville, LA arising from a traffic stop on LA 1 near Napoleonville.

An officer observed a vehicle whose driver committed a traffic violation and proceeded to execute a traffic stop of the vehicle. An interview of the driver, Eugene Taylor Fair, resulted in a subsequent search of Fair during which a quantity of crack cocaine was located on Fair’s person.

Eugen Taylor Fair was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:

*Possession of Crack Cocaine (Felony)
*Driving on Roadway Laned for Traffic

Eugene Taylor Fair remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
