TRAFFIC INCIDENT – THIRD OFFENSE D.W.I.
BRYAN TRUMAINE JOHNSON – I.C.E. ARREST
PLATTENVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Bryan Trumaine Johnson, 41, of 136 Highway 403, Paincourtville, LA, on felony charges arising from a traffic incident on LA 70 East, Sunday evening near Plattenville.
A uniformed patrol deputy assigned to the I.C.E. detail observed an east bound vehicle commit a traffic violation and executed a stop of that vehicle. The deputy made contact with the driver, now identified as Bryan Trumaine Johnson and engaged the subject into an officer / violator interview. The deputy noted a strong odor of alcoholic beverages emitting from the person of Bryan Trumaine Johnson. At the conclusion of the interview, Bryan Trumaine Johnson was arrested and transported to the Assumption Parish Detention Center.
Bryan Trumaine Johnson refused all methods of intoxicant testing. Deputies secured a search warrant for the person of Bryan Trumaine Johnson. Deputies escorted Bryan Trumaine Johnson to a local healthcare facility to secure a blood sample in accordance with the search warrant. Bryan Trumaine Johnson was booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:
*Driving While Intoxicated – Third Offense
*Speeding – 101 mph in a 55 mph Zone
*Unlawful Refusal to Submit to Chemical Tests
*Reckless Operation of a Motor Vehicle
*No Driver’s License
*Following too Closely
Bryan Trumaine Johnson was incarcerated and released on a $30,000 bond .
