TRAFFIC INCIDENT – PURSUIT – FUGITIVE
CHASE ANTHONY CLEVELAND, TIMOTHY CHRISTOPHER RILEY
LABADIEVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrests of Chase Anthony Cleveland, 34, of 1735B Lynn Street, Thibodaux, LA and Timothy Christopher Riley, 40, of 650 Belle Made Apartment 6D, Gretna, LA, on charges arising from a traffic incident / pursuit Thursday evening near Labadieville.
A uniformed patrol deputy observed an eastbound vehicle on LA 398 traveling at a high rate of speed in excess of 100 miles per hour and continued until pulling into a private business near Labadieville. At that time, the deputy made contact with the driver now identified as Chase Anthony Cleveland. It was determined that Cleveland was operating the vehicle while driving with a suspended driver’s license.
Chase Anthony Cleveland was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:
*Aggravated Flight from an Officer
*Driving Under a Suspended License
*Reckless Operation of a Motor Vehicle
Chase Anthony Cleveland remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
The lone passenger in Cleveland’s vehicle now identified as Timothy Christopher Riley was arrested on a fugitive warrant for felony theft originating in Lafourche Parish.
Timothy Christopher Riley was booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on a fugitive warrant from Lafourche Parish for:
*Felony Theft
Timothy Christopher Riley remains incarcerated pending transfer to Lafourche Parish.
