TRAFFIC INCIDENT – I.C.E. ARREST – IESHA V. DORSEY
NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Iesha V. Dorsey, 30, of 213 Jefferson Street, Napoleonville, LA, on felony charges arising out of a traffic incident near Napoleonville Sunday evening.
A uniformed patrol deputy, on assignment to the I.C.E. detail, observed a vehicle being driven by Iesha V. Dorsey and was aware that Dorsey was wanted on a warrant for failure to appear. The deputy attempted to stop the vehicle, but the driver continued in a manner consistent with the intent to elude officers.
The suspect eventually stopped the vehicle and fled into a residence with the deputy in pursuit. The suspect ran through the residence and was eventually captured.
Iesha V. Dorsey was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:
*Aggravated Flight from an Officer
*Resisting an Officer
*Violation of Stop Sign Requirements (4 Counts)
*Driving on Roadway Laned for Traffic
*Speeding
*Warrant (Failure to Appear)
Iesha V. Dorsey remains incarcerated with bond set at $80,100.
