TRAFFIC INCIDENT – DRUG LAW VIOLATIONS
DUSTON PAUL JONES FELL – I.C.E. ARREST
AMELIA – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Duston Paul Jones Fell, 43, of 1014 Zydeco Street, Ville Platte, LA, on multiple felony charges arising from a traffic stop early Tuesday morning on U.S. 90 near Amelia.
A uniformed patrol deputy assigned to the I.C.E. detail observed a vehicle commit a traffic violation and initiated a stop of that vehicle.
The deputy made contact with the driver, now identified as Duston Paul Jones Fell and engaged the driver into an officer / violator interview. During that interview, the deputy noted signs consistent with illegal drug activity and concluded that additional investigation was warranted. The deputy requested and was granted consent to search the suspect vehicle. During the search, deputies seized quantities of anabolic steroids and methamphetamine.
Duston Paul Jones Fell was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:
*Possession with Intent to Distribute Methamphetamine
*Possession of Steroids (2 Counts)
*Failure to Drive on Right Side of Road
*Suspended Driver’s License
Duston Paul Jones Fell remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
