TRAFFIC INCIDENT – D.W.I. THIRD OFFENSE

LABADIEVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Adam Joseph Guillory, 38, of 191, Elaine Street, Bayou L’Ourse, LA, on felony driving while intoxicated charges following a Friday afternoon traffic incident in Labadieville.
The Sheriff’s Office Communications Center received a complaint of a possible impaired individual operating a vehicle in a school zone.
A deputy intercepted the suspect vehicle in the area of LA 398 and LA 1. The deputy followed the vehicle and noted violations consistent with impaired driving. The deputy initiated a stop of the vehicle and made contact with the driver, now identified as Adam Joseph Guillory. During the officer / violator interview, the deputy noticed Guillory to have glossy eyes and there was an odor of alcoholic beverage present.
The deputy conducted a series of field sobriety tests in which Adam Joseph Guillory performed poorly.
Adam Joseph Guillory was arrested and transported to the Assumption Parish Detention Center. Once there, Adam Joseph Guillory was administered an intoxilyzer exam of which he failed.
Adam Joseph Guillory was booked on charges of:
*Driving While Intoxicated – Third Offense
*Possession of Alcoholic Beverages in a Motor Vehicle
Adam Joseph Guillory remains incarcerated with bond set at $65,000.
