TRAFFIC / DRUG LAW VIOLATIONS
RONNIE EUGENE JARVIS – I.C.E. UNIT

PIERRE PART – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Ronnie Eugene Jarvis, 37, of 2301 Sagona Road, Donaldsonville, LA, on felony drug charges following a stop by the Sheriff’s I.C.E. Unit late Tuesday near Pierre Part.

An I.C.E. assigned deputy observed a westbound vehicle near Bayou Corne exhibiting multiple traffic violations and executed a stop of the violator vehicle.

The deputy made contact with the driver, now identified as Ronnie Eugene Jarvis.

During the officer / violator interview, the deputy noted that Jarvis displayed signs consistent with illegal drug activity.

At some point, the deputy requested and was granted permission to search the vehicle. During the search process, quantities of assorted paraphernalia, marijuana and meth-amphetamine was seized.

Ronnie Eugene Jarvis was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:

*Possession of Meth-Amphetamine
*Possession of Marijuana
*License Plate Light Required
*Driving on Roadway Laned for Traffic

Ronnie Eugene Jarvis remains incarcerated with bond set at $5,000.
