THEFT OF AUTOMOBILE, FUGITIVE WARRANT
MEGHANN REBEKAH SCARBROUGH

NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Meghann Rebekah Scarbrough, 36, of 127 Highway 663, Bayou L’Ourse, LA, arising from a stolen automobile investigation originating in Bayou L’Ourse on Saturday evening.

Deputies were dispatched to the 100 block of LA 663 in reference to the theft of an automobile. The complainants reported that they parked their vehicle at a location near where they were visiting. The complainants advised that Meghann Rebekah Scarbrough was present at the time they parked their car. At sometime later in the evening, the complainants noticed their car was missing and Meghann Rebekah Scarbrough was no longer present.

Investigating deputies determined that Meghann Rebekah Scarbrough had taken the vehicle without permission.

Meghann Rebekah Scarbrough was arrested in the 100 Block of LA 663 on Saturday evening. She was booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:

*Theft of a Motor Vehicle
*Fugitive – Morgan City Police Department

Meghann Rebekah Scarbrough remains incarcerated with bond set at $15,000.
