LABADIEVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Jacqueline M. Mosely, 29, of 207 Sparrow Street, Labadieville, LA, on theft charges connected to a local business.
On October 3, 2019, deputies responded to a complaint at a Labadieville business involving the theft of goods.
Mosely, the suspect, was an employee at the business.
Deputies interviewed management personnel who indicated that Mosely had stolen a variety of items from the business and had permitted customers to walk out with baskets loaded of merchandise on at least 16 occasions.
Deputies recovered video surveillance of the crimes and Mosely made inculpatory admissions to the alleged offenses.
Jacqueline M. Mosely was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:
*Felony Theft
Mosely was incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
The stolen merchandise was valued at several thousand dollars.
