SUSPICIOUS VEHICLE COMPLAINT – DRUG LAW VIOLATIONS
SCHUYLER P. SANCHEZ, TESS M BERGERON
PLATTENVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrests of Schuyler Paul Sanchez, 36, of 405 Houmas Street, Donaldsonville, LA, and Tess Marie Bergeron, 50, of 245 Virginia Street, Belle Rose, LA, on related charges after deputies responded to a suspicious vehicle complaint near LA 70 East and Spur 70.
Deputies located the vehicle as well as the driver identified as Schuyler P. Sanchez and one passenger, now identified as Tess M. Bergeron.
Deputies and narcotics agents proceeded to interview both occupants. It was determined that Tess M. Bergeron was wanted on an outstanding warrant for Failure to Appear in Court in Assumption Parish related to a prior arrest for possession of methamphetamine. Tess M. Bergeron was arrested.
Narcotics agents interviewed Schuyler P. Sanchez and upon completion of that process, agents summoned a K-9 unit to the location. The K-9 conducted an open-air sniff of the vehicle and alerted positive for the presence of controlled dangerous substances.
A search of that vehicle resulted in the seizures of methamphetamine and assorted drug paraphernalia, all attributed to Schuyler P. Sanchez. He was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:
*Possession of Methamphetamine
*Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Tess M. Bergeron was booked on a warrant for:
*Failure to Appear – Assumption Parish – Possession of Methamphetamine
Schuyler P. Sanchez remains incarcerated with bond set at $20,000.
Tess M. Bergeron remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
