SUSPICIOUS SUBJECT / VEHICLE – DRUG LAW VIOLATIONS

NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Brandon Thomas Rangeley, 34, of 13512 Highland Road, Baton Rouge, LA, on drug law violations following a suspicious person complaint Saturday afternoon.
Deputies were called to a location in the Klotzville area in reference to a suspicious person in a vehicle.
Upon locating the vehicle, deputies interviewed the occupant, now identified as Brandon Thomas Rangeley. Deputies noted the suspect to be untruthful during the interview, was extremely agitated and was evasive in his answers.
During the process, deputies obtained consent to search the vehicle. During the subsequent search, a quantity of meth-amphetamine and assorted paraphernalia was seized.
Brandon Thomas Rangeley was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:
*Possession of Drug Paraphernalia – (Third Offense-Felony)
*Possession of Meth-Amphetamine
Rangeley was incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
