SEARCH WARRANT – DRUG LAW VIOLATIONS
RONTRELL JOHNSON, QUITANA MARIE KENNY
LABADIEVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrests of Rontrell Johnson, 37, of 173 Violet Street, LA and Quitana Marie Kenny, 33, of 110A Violet Street, Labadieville, LA on charges arising from the execution of a search warrant at 173 Violet Street, Labadieville, LA, early Thursday evening.
Over a period of time, narcotics agents conducted an investigation relative to illegal drug trafficking in the Labadieville area. During that investigation, Rontrell Johnson was identified as an individual dealing in illegal drug activity.
As the investigation progressed, agents established probable cause sufficient to obtain a search warrant for the residence located at 173 Violet Street. On Thursday evening, deputies and agents converged on the residence and were immediately met with resistance from Quitana Marie Kenny. She was taken into custody and subsequently arrested.
Deputies and agents made entry into the home and executed a search of the premises.
During that search, agents seized 4 firearms, cocaine, methamphetamine, crack cocaine, MDMA (Ecstasy), marijuana, Oxycodone, Suboxone, Xanax (Alprazolam) and assorted drug paraphernalia.
Rontrell Johnson was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:
*Illegal Use of Controlled Dangerous Substances in the Presence of Persons Under 17
Years of Age
*Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon (4 Counts)
*Possession with Intent to Distribute Cocaine
* Possession with Intent to Distribute Crack Cocaine
* Possession with Intent to Distribute Marijuana
* Possession with Intent to Distribute MDMA (Ecstasy)
* Possession with Intent to Distribute Methamphetamine
* Possession with Intent to Distribute Oxycodone
* Possession with Intent to Distribute Suboxone
* Possession with Intent to Distribute Xanax (Alprazolam)
*Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Rontrell Johnson remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
Quitana Marie Kenny was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:
*Resisting an Officer
*Interfering with a Law Enforcement Investigation
