RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY

PAINCOURTVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Johnny Worley, 55, of 6039 LA Highway 308, Paincourtville, LA, in connection with a pair of residential burglaries.

On July 18, 2020, Sheriff’s deputies responded to a call off of LA 308 near Paincourtville in reference to a residential burglary.

As a result of the initial and follow-up investigation, it was determined that goods had been stolen from the residence following forced entry by an unknown perpetrator(s).

Detectives were able to identify Johnny Worley as a suspect and that he had in fact burglarized the home on multiple occasions.

Based on the investigation, detectives secured arrest warrants and on Monday, July 20, 2020, Johnny Worley was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on felony charges:

*Simple Burglary of an Inhabited Dwelling (2 Counts)

Johnny Worley was incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
