PROBATION VIOLATION – KALEB WILLIAMS SMITH

NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Kaleb Williams Smith, 22, of 1600 Maple Street, Morgan City, LA, on a warrant charging him with a probation violation.

Kaleb Williams Smith was convicted of the crime of Simple Burglary of an Inhabited Dwelling in Assumption Parish on October 19, 2019. As a result of that conviction, Kaleb Williams Smith was ordered to serve a term of supervised probation for four (4) years. Additionally, the court set forth numerous conditions that Kaleb Williams Smith was ordered to abide by.

Kaleb Williams Smith violated the terms of probation resulting in a warrant being issued for his arrest on May 27, 2022.

Kaleb Williams Smith was arrested in St. Mary Parish in October on unrelated charges.

Smith was transported to the Assumption Parish Detention Center on Tuesday and booked on a warrant for:

Kaleb Williams Smith was then returned to the custody of St. Mary Parish.
