POSSESSION OF A FIREARM BY A CONVICTED FELON – ROSELLA VOISIN

NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Rosella Voisin, 32, of 1126 Front Street, Morgan City, LA on a felony charge when a complaint was received in reference to a disturbance at 105 Gaudet Court, Bayou L’Ourse, LA.

Upon arrival at the aforementioned address, a uniformed patrol officer made contact with the individuals involved in the disturbance, one of which was Rosella Voisin. The investigation led to a search of the residence during which two firearms were located.

The officer conducted a background search on Rosella Voisin was shown to be a convicted felon.

Rosella Voisin was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on a charge of:

*Possession of a Firearm / Carry Concealed Weapon by a Convicted Felon (Felony)

Rosella Voisin remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
