OBSTRUCTION OF JUSTICE – SPEEDING
JIMMY ROSS PHILLIPS, JR.

NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Jimmy Ross Phillips, Jr., 20, of 1211 St. Vincent Street, Donaldsonville, LA, on felony charges resulting from a traffic stop near LA 1010 and LA 308 early Sunday morning.

A uniformed patrol division officer observed a vehicle commit a traffic violation and initiated a stop of the vehicle. Upon doing so, the driver became visibly upset. She identified her front seat passenger was her boyfriend.

The deputy observed the individual now identified as Jimmy Ross Phillips, Jr., eating a large amount of raw marijuana.

Jimmy Ross Phillips, Jr. was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:

*Obstruction of Justice

Phillips was incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
