FUGITIVE WARRANT, DRUG LAW VIOLATION
SASHA MARIE GAUTREAUX
NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Sasha Marie Gautreaux, 25, of 108 Warren Drive, Des Allemonds, LA, on multiple felony charges as well as a fugitive warrant arising from an investigative stop on Monday.
Deputies received information relative to Sasha Marie Gautreaux being wanted on fugitive warrants originating in Terrebonne Parish. Deputies determined that on Monday, Sasha Marie Gautreaux was in a vehicle traveling in Assumption Parish.
Deputies conducted an investigative stop of the vehicle Gautreaux was a passenger and conducted a stop of that vehicle.
Sasha Marie Gautreaux was indeed a passenger in that vehicle. Gautreaux was arrested and transported to the Assumption Parish Detention Center for booking on the fugitive warrant.
At the time of her arrest, a minimally invasive search was conducted of the person of Sasha Marie Gautreaux. Once at the facility, female corrections officers conducted a thorough search of Gautreaux. At some point, Gautreaux removed what was later determined to be methamphetamine from her undergarments and then attempted to ingest the drug. Sasha Marie Gautreaux was booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:
*Obstruction of Justice
*Possession of Methamphetamine
*Introducing Contraband into a Penal Institution
*Fugitive Warrant – Terrebonne Parish
Sasha Marie Gautreaux remains incarcerated with bond set at $55,000.
