FUGITIVE / FAILURE TO APPEAR WARRANTS, DRUG LAW VIOLATIONS – KASEY A. CARTER – I.C.E. ARREST
BELLE ROSE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Kasey A. Carter, 34, of 139 Virginia Street, Belle Rose, LA, on multiple felony charges arising from an incident Friday evening at the aforementioned address.
On Friday evening, a uniformed patrol deputy and an I.C.E. assigned deputy attempted to execute arrest warrants upon Kasey A. Carter. Upon approaching the residence, deputies observed Kasey A. Carter in the front yard. Carter spotted deputies and fled the area. Deputies pursued Carter on foot and eventually were able to take him into custody. Kasey A. Carter was arrested and transported to the Assumption Parish Detention Center for booking. During that process, Kasey A. Carter was found to be in possession of a quantity of suspected MDMA (Ecstasy).
Kasey A. Carter was booked on charges of:
*Failure to Appear in Court in Assumption Parish on a Charge of Simple Criminal
Damage to Property
*Fugitive East Baton Rouge Parish – Aggravated Assault with a Firearm
*Possession of MDMA (Ecstasy)
*Taking Contraband to / from a Penal Institution
*Resisting an Officer (2 Counts)
Kasey A Carter remains incarcerated with bond set at $70,651.50.
