FUGITIVE ARREST – ALVIN BROWN
NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Alvin Brown, 67, of 6311 Louis Elam Street, Violet, LA, on a fugitive warrant from New Orleans City Police following an investigation near Napoleonville on Friday.
On Friday evening, deputies responded to a complaint at a local special care facility. Upon arrival, deputies made contact with the complainant now identified as Alvin Brown who indicated he did now wish to remain at the facility. Mr. Brown had the right to sign himself out of the facility and elected to do so.
While conducting their investigation, deputies determined that Alvin Brown was wanted by New Orleans City Police on felony charges.
Alvin Brown was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on fugitive warrants from New Orleans City Police on charges of:
*Unauthorized Use of a Moveable
*Illegal Possession of Stolen Things
Alvin Brown was transferred to the Orleans Parish Sheriff’s Office Prison Division.
