FRAUDELENT SUBMISSIONS TO DEPARTMENT OF MOTOR VEHICLES

NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Joel
Andres Valcarcel, 25, of 4417 Yale Street, Apt. B, Metairie, LA, on felony charges arising out of a complaint filed by the Napoleonville Office of Department of Motor Vehicles on Monday afternoon.
Deputies were dispatched to the state agency in reference to an individual submitting false documents in order to obtain a Louisiana driver’s license.
Upon arrival, deputies were presented evidence supporting the allegations and did arrest Joel Andres Valcarcel. The suspect was booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:
* Production of, Manufacturing, Distribution, or Possession of Fraudulent Documents for Identification Purposes
*Giving False Information Regarding Lawful Presence in the United States in Order to Obtain a Driver’s License
Joel Andres Valcarcel remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
