FINANCIAL CRIMES – BONNIE ANN WILCOX, THOMAS M. WILCOX
NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Bonnie Ann Wilcox, 57, of 4222 Highway 1, Napoleonville, LA and are attempting to arrest Thomas M. Wilcox, 62, of 4222 Highway 1, Napoleonville, LA on felony charges arising out of financial fraud activity.
On or about January 24, 2022, the Sheriff’s Office received an identity theft and bank fraud complaint regarding a bank account of a recently deceased individual.
Detective’s made contact with the complainants who were related to the decedent and were advised that the deceased person’s bank account had been accessed fraudulently and several transactions were conducted in which an amount of less than $1000 had been stolen.
Through investigation, detectives were able to identify Thomas M. Wilcox and Bonnie Ann Wilcox as suspects. Detectives determined that all transactions were conducted following the decedent’s death.
As a result of the investigation, warrants were obtained for the arrests of Bonnie Ann Wilcox and Thomas M. Wilcox.
Bonnie Ann Wilcox was arrested on May 10, 2022, and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:
*Bank Fraud
*Felony Identity Theft
*Misdemeanor Theft
Bonnie Ann Wilcox posted a commercial bond of $20,000.
Detectives are actively seeking to arrest Thomas M. Wilcox on charges of:
*Bank Fraud
*Felony Identity Theft
*Misdemeanor Theft
