FIGHT / DISTURBANCE – DORIAN VASHUN D. BROWN
NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Dorian Vashun D. Brown, 26, of 127 Substation St., Pierre Part, LA, on felony charges arising from an incident in the 3900 block of LA 70 late Saturday.
Deputies were dispatched to the aforementioned location in reference to a fight involving a dangerous weapon. Upon arrival, deputies encountered two male subjects on the ground fighting. Deputies quickly got the immediate situation under control and began to investigate what led to the incident.
There was an argument over texting between two females over personal issues. At some point, Dorian Vashun D. Brown, who was a domestic partner of one of the females left his Substation Street home and traveled to the address at 3900 block of Highway 70 and confronted one of the subjects at that location. Brown forcefully entered the residence then pulled a knife and chased one of the occupants outside. Deputies continue to investigate the incident after a handgun and multiple fired casing were found outside of the residence.
At the conclusion of the investigation, Dorian Vashun D. Brown was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:
*Home Invasion
*Aggravated Assault with a Dangerous Weapon
*Driving While Intoxicated
Dorian Vashun D. Brown remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
