FELONY ARREST WARRANT – RAYMOND JERRY RILEY

NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Raymond Jerry Riley, 66, of 502 St. Patrick Street, Donaldsonville, LA, on felony aggravated assault charges arising from an incident on May 06, 2024, near Paincourtville.

On the aforementioned date, deputies were dispatched to the 5800 block of LA 308 in reference to a stalking complaint.

Deputies made contact with the complainant who advised that Raymond Jerry Riley had passed near his home and had brandished a firearm outside of his vehicle’s window and yelled at him. The complainant advised that Riley had previously stalked him and his family. Investigating deputies did determine that Riley had previously harassed him and his family, and they were concerned for their safety.

At the conclusion of their investigation, deputies obtained an arrest warrant for Raymond Jerry Riley.

On Friday, June 14, 2024, Raymond Jerry Riley was arrested at a local retail establishment and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:

*Aggravated Assault with a Firearm

Raymond Jerry Riley remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
