FAILURE TO APPEAR WARRANT – PROBATION / PAROLE WARRANT – JOHN EDWARD WESTERFIELD
NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of John Edward Westerfield, 32, of 30449 Castro Lane, Donaldsonville, LA, on warrants for Failure to Appear in Court in Assumption Parish as well as a warrant charging him with a probation violation.
John Edward Westerfield was previously convicted in Assumption Parish on charges of possession of methamphetamine and possession of marijuana. As a result of those convictions, John Edward Westerfield was ordered to appear in court on May 29, 2024, for a review hearing as well as a probation violation hearing.
John Edward Westerfield failed to appear as ordered resulting in warrants being issued for his arrest.
The Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office arrested John Edward Westerfield on June 4, 2024.
On June 5, 2024, John Edward Westerfield was released to the custody of the Assumption Parish Sheriff’s Office. John Edward Westerfield was booked in to the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:
*Failure to Appear in Court in Assumption Parish on May 29, 2024, for a Review
Hearing Relative to Felony Drug Charges
*Probation Violation
John Edward Westerfield was ordered held without bond.
