FAILURE TO APPEAR / VIOLATION OF PROTECTION ORDER

NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Dorin Charles Kennedy, 38, of 106 Paul Frederick Street, Luling LA, on a felony warrant for violation of a protective order and an unrelated warrant for failure to appear.
On or about April 12, 2019, deputies responded to a complaint near Bayou L’Ourse related to a domestic issue. The complainant advised that a former domestic partner had made repetitive threats against her during a period of time when a protective order was active. Deputies confirmed the existence of the active order and determined that Kennedy had been arrested for violating the order on two prior occasions.
A warrant was filed at the time against Kennedy.
On Saturday, Kennedy was arrested in East Baton Rouge Parish on the Assumption warrants.
Dorin Charles Kennedy was transported to Assumption Parish where he was booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:
*Violation of a Protective Order
*Failure to Appear on Charges of Unauthorized Entry of an Inhabited Dwelling
Kennedy remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
