NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Gerrel G. Talbert, 30, of 120 Jerome Court, Napoleonville, LA, on failure to appear warrants for felony drug / gun law violations as well as traffic charges.
Gerrel G. Talbert was previously arrested in Assumption Parish and as a result was ordered to appear in court and failed to do so.
Warrants were issued for the arrest of Gerrel G. Talbert on May 30, 2024.
On Monday, Gerrel G. Talbert was transported by Assumption Parish Sheriff’s deputies from the Lafourche Parish Correctional Complex and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:
*Failure to Appear in Court in Assumption Parish on May 28, 2024, on Counts of:
-Possession of Heroin
-Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
-Driving Under a Suspended Driver’s License
(Talbert was ordered held without bond)
*Failure to Appear in Court on May 28, 2024, on Counts of:
-Possession of a Firearm / Carrying a Concealed Weapon by a Convicted Felon
– Use of Multiple Beam Road Lighting Equipment
(Talbert was ordered held without bond)
Talbert was returned to the Lafourche Parish Correctional Facility where he is being held on their charges.
Assumption Parish has placed a detainer on Gerrel G. Talbert.
