EQUIPMENT VIOLATION, DRUG LAW VIOLATION, FUGITIVE WARRANT – MIKIE LYNN LANDRY
PIERRE PART – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Mikie Lynn Landry, 24, of 121 Mike Street, Pierre Part, LA, on felony drug law violations arising from a Sunday afternoon traffic stop near Pierre Part.
A uniformed patrol deputy observed a vehicle on LA 70 with an equipment violation and conducted an investigative stop of that vehicle. The deputy made contact with the driver now identified as Mikie Lynn Landry and conducted an officer / violator interview of Landry.
At the conclusion of that interview, the deputy believed that additional investigation was warranted.
The deputy requested consent to search the vehicle which was granted. During the search process, doses of Xanax (Alprazolam) and Oxycodone were seized.
Mikie Lynn Landry was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:
*Possession of Oxycodone
*Possession of Xanax (Alprazolam)
*Illegal Window Tint
*Fugitive Warrant – St. Mary Parish on charges of:
-Flight from an Officer
-Reckless Operation of a Motor Vehicle
Mikie Lynn Landry remains incarcerated with bond set at $40,000.
