BAYOU L’OURSE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Robbie Lyn Pierce, 36, of 207 Ambassador Court, Gibson, LA, on charges arising out of a traffic stop.

During the driver interview, the deputy asked for consent to search the vehicle which was granted. As a result of the search, a quantity of marijuana and methamphetamine was located.

Robbie Lyn Pierce was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:

*Possession of Methamphetamine (Felony)
*Possession of Marijuana – 1st Offense
*Evidence of Compulsory Motor Vehicle Liability
*Switched Plates

Robbie Lyn Pierce remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
