DRUG LAW VIOLATIONS – OBSTRUCTION OF JUSTICE

LABADIEVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Eugene Holly, 31, of 3376 Back Marrais Road, Napoleonville, LA, on felony drug charges following the completion of an investigation on Saturday afternoon.
Deputies responded to a complaint of someone with a large amount of marijuana at a location near LA 400. When deputies confronted the person now identified as Eugene Holly, the suspect threw a jar of marijuana under a mobile home. Deputies recovered the evidence.
At the conclusion of the investigation, Eugene Holly was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:
*Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Distribute
*Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
*Obstruction of Justice
*Resisting an Officer
Eugene Holly was incarcerated with bond set at $10,500.
