DRUG LAW VIOLATIONS
WADE J. BATISTE, JR.
NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Wade J. Batiste, Jr., 39 of 512 Congress Street, Napoleonville, LA on multiple drug charges as part of an ongoing narcotics related investigation.
As part of that investigation, Narcotics Agents secured intelligence indicating that Wade J. Batiste, Jr., was actively involved in illegal drug activity.
After an extensive investigation that yielded sufficient probable cause, agents secured a search warrant for Batiste’s residence and executed that warrant on Wednesday afternoon.
As a result of the search of the aforementioned location, agents seized a significant amount of controlled dangerous substances.
Wade J. Batiste, Jr. was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:
*Possession with Intent to Distribute Oxycodone
*Possession with Intent to Distribute MDMA (Ecstasy)
*Possession of Marijuana
*Resisting an Officer by Force or Violence
Wade J. Batiste, Jr. remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
