DRUG LAW VIOLATIONS – JUDE MICHAEL METREJEAN

PIERRE PART – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Jude Michael Metrejean, 33, of 3203 Highway 70 South, Pierre Part, La., on felony drug related charges in connection with an ongoing parish wide drug probe.

As part of this investigation, agents developed information that Jude Michael Metrejean was involved in illegal drug trafficking.

As a result of that investigation, agents developed probable cause to secure arrest warrants for Metrejean.

Jude Michael Metrejean was arrested in Pierre Part late Sunday.

Incidental to the arrest, Metrejean was searched and found to be in possession of a large quantity of illegal drugs.

Jude Michael Metrejean was booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:

*Distribution of Meth-Amphetamine
*Possession with Intent to Distribute Meth-Amphetamine
*Possession of Marijuana – 2nd Offense
*Possession of Suboxone
*Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Metrejean could face additional charges pending crime lab analysis.

Jude Michael Metrejean remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
