DRUG LAW VIOLATION – DISTRIBUTION
DERRICK A. JOHNSON

NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of
Derrick A. Johnson, 39, of 357 LA. Highway 400, Napoleonville, LA, on felony drug distribution charges.

As part of an ongoing parish wide narcotics investigation, agents developed information indicating that Derrick A. Johnson was engaged in illegal drug trafficking.

As a result of that investigation, agents established probable cause sufficient to obtain an arrest warrant for Derrick A. Johnson.

Already in jail on unrelated charges, Derrick A. Johnson was arrested Friday morning on a charge of:

*Distribution of Marijuana

Derrick A. Johnson remains incarcerated with a bond set at $75,000.
