DRUG LAW VIOLATION
DRUG LAW VIOLATION – JEREMY EARL GAMBLE, JR.
BAYOU L’OURSE– Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Jeremy Earl Gamble, Jr., 23, of 159 Elaine Street, Morgan City, LA, on a felony drug count arising from a May 7, 2021 traffic incident on Elaine Street, Bayou L’Ourse, LA.
On the aforementioned date, a uniformed patrol deputy came upon a vehicle parked in the roadway. As the deputy maneuvered to address the matter, the suspect drove off.
At some point, the deputy was able to stop the vehicle and then made contact with Gamble. Due to developments during the officer / violator interview, the deputy requested and was granted consent to search the vehicle. During the search, a quantity of methamphetamine was seized.
At the time, Jeremy Gamble was brought to a local hospital for medical treatment, therefore he was not charged at the time.
On Thursday, deputies booked Gamble into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on a charge of:
*Possession of Methamphetamine.
Gamble remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
